Developmental Academy, TPLDA, holds Business Masterclass on December 7
The Phoenix Learning and Developmental Academy (TPLDA) business masterclass for December 7, comes at no cost to the participants.
“There is a dearth of guidance available to young Nigerians at the start of their careers, only a few have the requisite knowledge to excel rapidly in their chosen profession or on their entrepreneurial journey", says Temitayo Ajakore, Senior Project Officer at The Phoenix Learning and Developmental Academy (TPLDA).
The business masterclass is a one-day interactive forum organised by Management consulting company with a focus on recruitment—TPLDA—for 120 young professionals to learn, network and share ideas.
It was designed to bridge the gap Temitayo alluded to in the first paragraph.
While the company was officially founded in 2015, it had been conceived since 2010 when it started as an open source solution provider for young entrepreneurs to get advice on how best to run their business in the first three years. The founder and CEO, Lanre Aduloju says his ideal is to help people build careers and dreams.
“I want to be that person that is known for helping others build”, he adds.
This year, they are looking to scale their impact by bringing together thought leaders to hold a panellist and break-out session with the attendees—at no cost to them.
This year's event is tagged "Looking Through The Eyes of Experts" and will hold on December 7, 2018, at the prestigious Landmark Tower in Victoria Island, Lagos. The organisers have been able to narrow their focus to just three business areas; IT, Fashion and Branding.
There will be a pitching slot as well as an exhibition with ample opportunity to network.
The invited speakers include Yomi Adedeji, CEO of Softcom Ltd—an 11-year old top technology firm currently running the Government's NPower programme. Also, reputable fashion designer, Ugo Monye—maker of Ebuka's agbada that went viral on Instagram and Twitter. Besides, Benjamin Dada, product manager at Eyowo—a wallet-based fintech, would be speaking on how young companies can move their businesses online.
Are you ready? Reserve your seat to help the TPLDA budget adequately for the event.
