FCMB announces SheVentures tech pitch to reward women in Tech
SheVentures is a First City Monument Bank (FCMB) initiative for women-owned Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs).
In commemoration of International Women's Day 2022, SheVentures, First City Monument Bank's unique proposition in support of the Nigerian woman in business, is organising a pitch competition for women in tech.
Themed SheVentures Tech Pitch, the event will recognize & reward women in the tech industry who are breaking biases.
SheVentures is a First City Monument Bank (FCMB) initiative for women-owned Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs). The initiative gives support to existing and upcoming women-owned SMEs through access to finance, training and mentoring to boost their business sustainably.
The event is open to women in tech who are building digital solutions in the Idea to Most Viable Product stage across different verticals including Healthcare, Education, Food Security, Agriculture and Finance.
Following a call for application and selection phase, the event will climax in a demo day, where six finalists will pitch to a set of judges.
Three winners will be selected and share the ₦2,000,000 prize: ₦1,000,000 goes to the winner, while the 1st & 2nd runners up get ₦650,000 and ₦350,000 respectively.
