Empowered Startups offers qualified entrepreneurs the opportunity to startup their business in Canada through their designation as a Government of Canada Startup Visa business incubator. They also have an appointment as a designated agency under the new Alberta Foreign Graduate Startup Visa Stream (FGSVS).

• Incubate from anywhere in Canada. Founders have the flexibility to incubate on their own terms.
• Each qualified startup can bring up to five founders to register and start their business venture in Canada.

How the program works

Step 1: Request more information by filling out the intake form. Applicants must be able to fund the program costs to qualify.

Step 2: Submit documents (which includes a scan of the founders passport photo and a few other items).

Step 3:  Schedule a meeting. After submission, you will be invited to a meeting where all of your questions are answered and the intake committee learns more about you.

Step 4: Receive offer & move to Canada. After the meeting, the committee will determine if your startup is the right fit for the program and you will be sent an offer letter to join Empowered Startups.
