Grants are most suited for small- and medium-sized enterprises because they have little or no burden. Unlike equity investment, which dilutes the shares of founders, and debt financing, which is essentially a loan. Grant is more or less free money.

The other "grant masters" that will be sharing insights during the masterclass are:

  • Alexander Obiechina, CEO of ACOB Lighting Technology. He has received many awards and grants, including AllOn Nigeria Off-grid Energy Challenge, Rural Electrification Fund of Nigeria, and the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Challenge.
  • Chukwuwezeam Obanor, CEO of Prepclass. He has received cumulatively $1 million grants and many awards, including GSMA Ecosystem Accelerator Innovation Grant, Anzisha Revenue Growth Award, Africa Award for Entrepreneurship, and IndiaAfrica Business Venture Competition.
