Last month, we reported that Christian “Codebeast” Nwamba partnered with Microsoft’s Senior Developer, Sarah Drasner, and Cloud Developer Advocate, Brian Holt to bring Concatenate developer conference to Nigeria. As far as we can remember, this is the first International Developers’ Conference to hold in Nigeria.
The event announced on July, 17, quickly sold out before July 19. This shows that Nigerian developers are continuously looking to acquire new knowledge and expand their network.

Commentary
This conference has the highest numbers of sponsors for any developer conference we have ever seen in Nigeria.
Currently, the conference boasts of fifteen sponsors and they are still looking for more. Classified into Gold (4), Silver (3) and Bronze (8) categories.
The Gold sponsors are: Microsoft, GatsbyJS, Egghead.io, and CodeSandbox. While the Silver sponsors are: Cloudinary, Twillio and Frontend Masters. And, the Bronze sponsors are: JSHeroes, Mozilla, Scotch.io, A Book Apart, Progress, GitLab, LINC, and Microsoft Edge.
Coming from an event management background, three Gold sponsors are enough to run a successful event and they have way more than that. They have gathered near a 1,500 followers on Twitter and they are not even one month old.
Some of the perks for attending include FREE subscriptions to hosting plans, tutorials, stickers and a wide array of networking opportunities.
We are definitely as excited about this and we can't wait to see you there!
